Teresa Giudice reached out to her fans to pray for her father’s health.
The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star made the emotional plea revealing that her father, Giacinto “Nonno” Gorga, is “struggling.”
“At this trying time I’m graciously asking for any extra prayers, good vibes, love….please send my fathers way,” the mother of four wrote on Instagram. “My father is struggling and my girls and I need him, we need his love, his presence & his strength. #thepowerofprayers.”
She included a throwback photo of Gorga being showered with affection by Teresa’s four daughters, Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10.
The reality star didn’t elaborate on her father’s condition, nor state if it had anything to do with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but Gorga has battled health issues over the last few years.
In January, Teresa disclosed her father was admitted into a hospital without confirming the reason.
Last November, Giudice had to abruptly leave an appearance during BravoCon to take Gorga to the hospital. He wound up having to be hospitalized for pneumonia.
Nonno was also previously hospitalized for pneumonia in both 2018 and 2017.
Teresa has spoken out on her father’s health in the past and the protocols her family undertakes to keep him safe.
"That's the thing, none of us can be sick around him because he catches it right away. We're constantly always washing our hands," she told Bravo in 2018. "Like when you have a baby and you make sure everything's clean, that's how you have to be with him because he gets sick easily."
In addition to her father’s health, Teresa’s personal life has been in a state of upheaval over the last few months.
In December, it was revealed Teresa and husband Joe Giudice had separated after 20 years of marriage. The former couple has yet to make any formal plans to divorce.
Joe continues to live in Italy while awaiting a final ruling on his deportation case.
