Even royal families need a place to chat casually about their dinner plans. A royal family member has revealed what the squad talks about in their WhatsApp groupchat.
According to People, "Good Morning Britain" got the inside scoop from Mike Tindall, the former rugby star married to the Queen’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall. He revealed that the royals have a chat together on WhatsApp.
So what’s it used for? It's mostly for setting up family dinner plans and childcare, Tindall reveals. “It’s just what you do to try and set up get-togethers and we are going to something that is the same,” he said.
And as much as fans of the royals love the info about their family group chat, Tindall explains that it’s not all that shocking or interesting. “Quite a lot of people have family WhatsApp groups. I don’t think it’s a new revelation,” he says.
The group chat includes some of Zara’s royal family members, which could very well include her cousins Prince William and Harry as well as their spouses.
People reports that this isn’t the first time Tindall has dished about the family group chat. “Me, my brother, and then a few of Zara’s side like her brother Pete and the cousins are on WhatsApp groups,” he revealed to The Daily Mirror in 2018.
There’s no doubt that a family group chat is just convenient – even for the royals. “I wouldn’t say we’re cutting edge, but it’s just easier for some reason on WhatsApp,” he said.
