Kanye West held his Sunday Service in Atlanta this past weekend and made headlines as videos and photos on social media claimed to show Yeezy walking on water.
Yeezy’s Sunday Service at a pond near Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios featured a sermon from Pastor Joel Osteen, who preached about Jesus walking on water and giving Peter permission to do so.
After the sermon, Kanye and his children, Osteen, and the Sunday Service choir reenacted the story by crossing a body of water as they were surrounded by doves.
The ankle-high water gave a pretty stunning visual as it gave off the appearance of West and his Sunday Service crew walking on water.
As Election Day creeps closer, Kanye may want to ask for divine intervention as new polls show support for his presidential campaign to be dwindling. A report filed with the Federal Election Commission shows that Yeezy has spent nearly $6.7 million on his own campaign.
To date, he’s received just over $3,800 in itemized individual donations and over $7,600 in unitemized individual donations. That brings his total outside donations to just over $11,000.
His presidential campaign is hurting as West recently failed to make the ballot in Ohio, Wisconsin, and Illinois.
A new poll from NextGen America points to the unlikelihood of West playing a spoiler role in the upcoming election. Support for Kanye from voters aged 18-34 is just 2% while only 20% have a favorable comparison of him. 70% of those polled held an unfavorable opinion of him.
