On Thursday, KKW posted the pic of a handwritten list of titles, with the date September 27 beneath it. Separate from the set is the words, Jesus Is King, written above. The photo was presented without a comment and only a pair of praying hands emoji, but speculation has run wild that this is the tracklist for an upcoming album from the artist.
If Jesus Is King is actually an album, it would be West’s first since ye was released in June of 2018. The album was part of Kanye’s Summer Album Series, which also featured a collaboration with Kid Cudi for KIDS SEE GHOSTS.
The list pictured also includes “Water,” which West performed earlier this year during his Sunday Service as Coachella. For that matter, this could just be a list for an upcoming Sunday Service, which is Kanye’s weekly celebration of faith.
But that fact that the 27th is a Friday and not a Sunday definitely points to an album.

It’s worth noting that release dates are only a suggestion for Kanye West. In September of 2018, the artist announced that he would release an album title Yandhi, which was delayed and ultimately disappeared. Previous albums have also missed their arrival time, with 2016’s The Life Of Pablo not only missing its debut date, but evolving and changing even after it was released.
Last weekend, West took his Sunday Service to Dayton, Ohio to support the victims and survivors of a mass shooting.
