The 20-year-old Brooklyn rapper, whose legal name is Bashar Barakah Jackson, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of February 19 inside a rental home in Hollywood Hills. City police officers found Jackson with gunshot wounds to the torso after responding to a 911 call from a friend of someone in the house who reported armed intruders inside the home. Officers rushed Jackson to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he later died, the rapper was only 20 years old.

Pop released his second mixtape Meet the Woo 2 less than two weeks before his death. His posthumous debut Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon dropped just last week on July 3.
