Megan Thee Stallion Lands Beyoncé for 'Savage' Remix

A Houston connection with Queen Bey

On Wednesday, a remix to Megan Thee Stallion’s viral hit “Savage” leaked featuring none other than Beyoncé. The track disappeared as quickly as it appeared before officially being released by Meg and Queen Bey.

The "Hot Girl Summer" singer made an official statement on Instagram, posting the remix visualizer art. “I’m literally crying… being from HOUSTON MF TEXAS this s*** means EVERYTHING to me !!!! SAVAGE REMIX FT THE QUEEN @BEYONCE OUT NOW! All the proceeds of the song goes to @breadoflifehou to support our city during this pandemic,” she captioned the post.

We’re crying too Meg, tears of joy of course. The OG hit made its way to both the top of the charts as well as TikTokers hearts. With the #SavageChallenge leading the pack as one of the most popular TikTok challenges created thus far. Bey even made a punny reference to the songs popularity on the the app, flowing “hips TikTok, when I dance…’

Not sure who to thank for dreaming up this magical collaboration, but once we find out, an edible arrangement is headed their way. The rest of the track finds Bey repping Houston and rapping about everything from her boss status to her bootylicious assets.

The original track comes from Meg's Suga EP, which dropped just last month. The remixed version has multiple new versus added from both Meg and Bey. All proceeds from the remix will go towards Bread of Life Houston COVID-19 relief efforts.
