Mulatto released the music video to her song "Muwop" featuring Gucci Mane, and it took less than one day for the sultry visual to climb its way to 1 million views and the #1 Trending video on Youtube.
"Muwop" is the first official single and video from the impending major label debut mixtape, Mulatto is set to release this summer via RCA Records.
In the single Mulatto sampled Gucci’s 2008 track "Freaky Gurl," and also tapped him in to be a feature on the track. "I flipped Gucci Mane’s ‘Freaky Gurl’ for my project and I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if he could get on it,'" Mulatto said in a press release. "When I got the text that Gucci recorded a verse for the song, I started screaming! Gucci is my favorite rapper of all time. Even when I was 10 years old, in interviews I would say he was my favorite."
If you are not yet familiar with Mulatto, The Rap Game alum is one of the hottest Hip Hop artist making noise in the Atlanta scene. She made her debut with a self-titled EP in 2018, adding to her catalog in 2019 with the well-received releases Big Latto and Hit The Latto, in which she worked with rap goddesses Saweetie and Trina. And more recently, she’s added to her rising profile with the singles “No Hook” and “He Say She Say,” all of which have all contributed to Mulatto's impressive 142 million streams to date.
The colorful Arrad-directed video, shows the two rappers lounging poolside on a hot Miami day, featuring a bevy of scantly clad beauties. Heads up, if you have youngsters around, you might want to do a quick parameter sweep before you press play on this one.
