After a week of rumors, the official lineup for the 2020 edition of Coachella has been revealed.
Rage Against The Machine will return to the festival they helped launch in 1999, taking the headline spot on Friday night. The band first announced their reunion last year, set to play three shows along the border before returning to the desert. It will be one of the group’s first shows back on stage since 2011, and their first time at Coachella since 2007.
Saturday night will have its own kind of rage, with Travis Scott taking the stage. The Hip Hop heavyweight brings his adrenaline-fueled set to Coachella, before Frank Ocean returns for his first show since 2017 to close out things on Sunday night.
Also on the bill for 2020 is GRAMMY-nominee Lana Del Rey, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, “Hot Girl Summer” star Megan Thee Stallion, and more Hip Hop royalty courtesy of Run The Jewels, 21 Savage, DaBaby, and Lil Uzi Vert.
K-pop stars BIGBANG will return from their hiatus for Coachella, but My Chemical Romance will not despite rumors swirling last week.
Lewis Capaldi and Charli XCX also offer a piece of Pop for this year’s lineup, while Calvin Harris, Fatboy Slim, and Flume lead the lot of EDM superstar producers.
Weekend one of the festival is already sold out according to Coachella, with presale for weekend two starting on Monday.
