Cardi B already has a strong social media presence, but she just set her sights on attacking over another network.
The “WAP” rapper has joined OnlyFans, a popular adult subscription service where fans can pay for content like videos, photos, and more.
Cardi spoke to RADIO.COM’s Julia in an exclusive RADIO.COM LIVE FANDEMIC and revealed she had been toying with the idea for a while.
“I’ve been thinking about doing it. I’ve been thinking about putting up more personal content there. Personal, but nothing sexual or anything just so my fans can get to know me a little bit more, see what I’m working on,” she said.
Plus, her OnlyFans account seems like it’ll be the main avenue for her fans to connect with her. “If anybody got something crazy to say about me and if I get really pissed off I’m just going to address it there. If the goal is for y’all to get a reaction out of me, then y’all going to get a reaction out of me, but you gotta pay me,” Cardi said.
When Cardi made the announcement on social media, she immediately told fans she was cutting her subscription price in half from the default $9.99 charge. “Ya spend too much on vinyls and my merch coming next week,” she tweeted.
Kicking things off on her OnlyFans account will be behind the scenes footage of her viral “WAP” music video alongside Megan Thee Stallion. This will include footage from the day of the shoot as well as content she shot leading up to the music video.
