This weekend artists and actors across Canada came together to raise money for the nation’s food banks during the coronavirus crisis. The Stronger Together special assembled an all-star collection of stars, highlighting the work of those on the front lines and preaching solidarity.

Drake, Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, Shania Twain, and Avril Lavigne are just a few who lent their voice to the cause, urging everyone to donate and support each other in this uncertain time.

"I want to send all my love, all my gratitude, all my support out to the frontline workers," Drake shared, asking everyone to highlight the positives during this crisis.

"To the people who are at home right now, abiding by the rules, self-isolating, who feel unaffected or not yet affected by the situation directly. I know it can still weigh on your mental health. I want to urge everybody that's in their own space to find the silver lining in the times we're living through right now."

"Now is a time for self-reflection," the “Toosie Slide” rapper added. "I hope we all emerge better people, a more unified people."

Justin Bieber appeared along with his wife Hailey, letting everyone know, "we are here in Canada with you guys."

"We are enduring this as a country together. We are sending our love and prayers."

Bieber also linked up with several other artists for an all-Canadian collaboration, joining Lavigne, Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams, and Geddy Lee of Rush for a cover of Bill Wither’s “Lean On Me.”

Stronger Together aired across all of Canada in both English and French on Sunday night, raising money for Food Banks Canada.
