Turning the big 4-0 can bring up a lot of emotions.
And Kourtney Kardashian was brought to tears while discussing her milestone birthday in a preview clip for the upcoming 17th season of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," according to People.
“I do think that turning 40, it almost makes you analyze where you’re at in your life, and it’s giving me anxiety,” Kourtney tells younger sister Khloe Kardashian. “Now that I’m doing Poosh, I always wish I had more time, but I feel like I wanna cry.”
Poosh is Kourtney’s lifestyle blog which features parenting, health and wellness content in a similar vein to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop site.
Despite questioning her life choices, the eldest Kardashian acknowledged all the privileges she enjoys, but still wondered if she could be doing things that have a bigger impact on the world.
“I have so much, and I should just be so happy,” the mother of three added. “I mean, I am but sometimes, it really makes you really analyze where you’re at … sometimes, like, I’ll just do stupid s–t to distract [myself from] really thinking about stuff that’s maybe more important.”
Khloe tried to offer her some advice by stressing all that matter is that she’s happy, but that appears to be the real question.
“I really don’t think your soul is happy,” Khloe told her big sister. “I think you feel incomplete somewhere [and] that you’re scared.”
Despite her fears of growing older, Kourtney celebrated her 40th birthday in April wearing a vintage Versace gown at an extravagant party that featured a performance by Robin Thicke and a NSFW cake. Atta girl!
"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" returns for its 17th season in the fall.
