Listen up ya’ll, TIME Magazine has revealed its annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world and if you didn’t already unofficially know it, it’s been made official, Megan Thee Stallion and Selena Gomez are just a few of the notable names that have made the list.

Categories include Leaders, Titans, Artists and more, and while you’d assume Meg would be classified under the latter… well you know what they say about those who assume. Our favorite Hot Girl breaks the mold as an influential, placed under the category of Pioneer.

As in previous years TIME had other famous figures highlight the honorees’, writing about Megan was actress Taraji P. Henson, who commended Megan’s career accomplishments while shining a light on her other many attributes. “I remember hearing Megan Thee Stallion on one of those famous DJ radio shows a few years ago. She rode the beat like I’d never heard anybody ride the beat in a long time.” And Taraji didn’t stop there. "It’s invigorating to see her become a platinum-selling artist with the viral hit 'Hot Girl Summer' and multiple No. 1 songs in the past year, 'Savage' and 'WAP,'" Henson wrote about the Houston rapper. "But you would be a fool to think that’s all there is to her. She’s deep. She’s enrolled in college. She’s an entertainer. She’s a free spirit; I see that in her. The industry might try to pigeonhole her in this rap game, but she’s got a plan that’s much bigger. And we got her. I just want her to keep winning.”

Honoring Selena was actress America Ferrera, celebrating SelGo’s ventures in music, television, and beauty, as well as her advocacy and humanitarian work. "Selena Gomez is unabashedly spreading her wings and influence into whatever lane her passions lead her. She has always been a great musician, but she’s also always been more than her music," Ferrera wrote. "Selena courageously uses her global platform in service of her full identity. She is emblematic of her powerful generation, which patently rejects the notion that they belong in any one lane as artists, activists or citizens of the world.”

Other entertainers on the prestigious list include, The Weeknd, with a tribute penned by Elton John, who referred to “Blinding Lights” as “2020’s best pop single.”

“Like Prince, he marches to his own beat,” Elton wrote. “That’s an exemplary way for an artist to be.”

Camila Cabello wrote of J Balvin, that the Reggaeton star has “opened up the doors for Latino artists everywhere by making the world hear and fall in love with our culture, our sounds and our spirit.”

Elsewhere on TIME’s list, BTS wrote about Halsey, Missy Elliott wrote about Dapper Dan, Mary J. Blige wrote about Jennifer Hudson, John Legend wrote about Dwayne Wade and Taylor Swift wrote a tribute to actress, writer and producer Phoebe Waller Bridge; along with quite a few more.
