You can always count on 007.
Halle Berry is opening up about a scary moment that happened to her on the set of 2002’s James Bond flick “Die Another Day.”
Berry, who played Bond girl Jinx Johnson, recalls choking while filming a scene with Pierce Brosnan, the current Bond at the time.
She claimed that Brosnan channeled the character and swooped in for the rescue.
“I was supposed to be all sexy and and seduce him with a fig,” Berry recalled while chatting with Jimmy Fallon during the at-home edition of “The Tonight Show” on Tuesday.
“And then he had to get up and do the Heimlich. So not sexy,” she added.
“You never see that in a James Bond movie,” Fallon quipped back with a laugh.
“You should’ve seen it,” Berry said adding, “James Bond knows how to Heimlich.”
We wouldn’t expect anything less from the M16 agent.
The actress also shared some kind words about Brosnan: “He was there for me. He will always be one of my favorite people in the whole world.”
Brosnan starred as the iconic spy for four films from 1995 to 2002.
“Die Another Day” was his final appearance before handing over the mantle to Daniel Craig, who made his debut as Bond in the 2006 film “Casino Royale.”
Craig will suit up one final time in the upcoming film “No Time to Die,” which was originally slated to premiere in April but was delayed to a November 25 release – the Wednesday before Thanksgiving – as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
As for who should take over the role next, in 2019, Berry told TODAY she was hoping it would either be a woman, Hugh Jackman, or Idris Elba.
