New year, new look for Tom Hanks!

The actor made an appearance on Britain’s “The Graham Norton Show” and revealed a hairdo that wasn’t exactly to his liking.

"Check out this horrible [haircut]," he joked. "Can you see that? Look at that thing!"

The 64-year-old admitted that he shaved his head to play the role of Col. Tom Parker, Elvis Presley’s manager, in the upcoming Baz Luhrmann-biopic.

Hanks gave audiences a brief glimpse at his shaved head before swiftly slipping his baseball cap back on.

“I just scared the children,” Hanks joked upon removing the cap to show off the ‘do.

“I want to apologize for showing up,” he added.

The highly-anticipated biopic about the life of the rock and roll legend will star Austin Butler as Presley. Olivia DeJonge is set to play Priscilla Presley. “Stranger Things” star Dacre Montgomery, “Lord of the Rings” star David Wenham, and singer Yola have also been cast.

Filming resumed in September in Australia after production was initially shut down in March following Hanks’ diagnosis with COVID-19.

Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, were among the first celebrities to contract the novel virus and both experienced different symptoms.

Hanks reported feeling a “bone-crushing fatigue” and soreness, while Wilson experienced more common symptoms of the virus that the CDC warned the public about including a high fever, headaches, and a loss of smell and taste.

Following his experience with the novel virus, the "Greyhound" actor said that he would publicly get the COVID-19 vaccine to show others that it is safe.

"We'll be getting it long after everybody who truly needs to get it gets it," Hanks said.

Health care workers and nursing home residents will have priority access to the vaccine.
