The first round of performers has been announced for the 2020 GRAMMY Awards, happening Sunday January 26 at 8PM ET on CBS.
Aerosmith will perform a career-spanning set packed with their legendary hits. The band is being honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year, being recognized for their impact on the world of music and their philanthropic efforts along the way. The band has been nominated 14 times over their career, winning 4 GRAMMY awards. They first performed on the show in 1991.
Also announced are a pair of GRAMMY debuts from Billie Eilish and Lizzo. Both artists are nominated for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist. Lizzo leads all nominees with 8 nominations, as Eilish made history as the youngest artist ever to be nominated for the top four awards.
Blake Shelton is nominated this year for Best Country Solo Performance, and he’ll be taking the stage with three-time GRAMMY winner and girlfriend Gwen Stefani. The couple began dating in 2015, and recently teamed up for the song “Nobody But You,” on Shelton’s Fully Loaded: God’s Country compilation album.
