Alessia Cara has a beautiful and dynamic voice, but we like when she tries on others for size too.
The “Scar To Your Beautiful” singer stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, and spun the “Wheel Of Musical Impressions” with the host. Together they tackled children’s songs, with Cara taking on “Pop Goes the Weasel” in the style of Billie Eilish.
“I’m so sorry Billie in advance,” she laughed. “I love you.”
Alessia then delivered a sinister version of the standard, performed like a jazzy rendition of Eilish’s hit “bad guy.” She even punctuated the “Weasel” with the trademark, “duh.”

Fallon added his own amazing impressions of The Doors and Mick Jagger, before Cara flexed through “Old McDonald Had A Farm” as Amy Winehouse. “My favorite person ever,” she said nervously before totally nailing that iconic voice. “That is exactly how you do that” Fallon exclaimed after she finished. “That almost is too perfect.”
Finally before it was all over, Cara turned in a perfect impression of Alanis Morissette, landing that absolutely Alanis note through “Hush, Little Baby.”
The GRAMMY winner for Best New Artist also sings her own songs, releasing “Rooting For You” on Friday. Cara is releasing a new EP called This Summer on September 6, and is currently on tour with Shawn Mendes. You can find the full list of upcoming dates here.
