BTS really did do it all during their visit with Jimmy Fallon for The Tonight Show. In celebration of their new album, Map Of The Soul: 7, the K-pop Kings made their way around New York City, playing games on the subway, serving up pastrami at Katz’s Deli, and even preforming at Grand Central Terminal.
More Mortal Kombat than Olympics, BTS and Jimmy Fallon faced off in a few treacherous events inside a subway car. First up is the vicious “Protect The Duck,” in which members had to swipe a rubber duck from the hand of their opponent.
Despite taking a shot to the jaw, Jin remained focused for a victory. Later he showed similar strength in the “Dance Your Shades and Gloves Off” event, exploding into a primal celebration after his quick and swift win.
“Is it for one man?” questioned RM as they set a massive plate of pastrami in front of him. The group sat down at the world famous Katz’s Deli with Fallon, and dug in. “In America this is what we eat for breakfast,” joked Jimmy. Without a veggie in sight, BTS ate through the menu at the iconic location, before trying their hand at making sandwiches themselves.
“ON” at Grand Central Terminal
Maybe the most amazing moment of their entire Tonight Show visit, BTS completely recreated their “ON” video inside of Grand Central Terminal, bringing the same astounding dance moves, surrounded by marching rhythms and a squad of dancers. Karaoke in a car is cool, but dancing in a train terminal might be better.
