“Probably the biggest thing I do to better the planet: I make music that’s like candy for your ears,” John Cooper of Skillet perfectly summarizes of his impact. “No?” While he’s not wrong, that’s not the type of improvement we’re talking about here…
The Jonas Brothers, Blink-182, Dave Matthews Band, Grace VanderWaal, Skillet, and Walker Hayes joined RADIO.COM to share how they’re lessening their carbon footprints. With the ability to impact fans around the world, these artists are leading the charge for a more environmentally-friendly wave.
“I try to eat as vegan as possible. Travis is much more strict a vegan than I am,” Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 admits of how they’ve fully changed their lifestyles to be more sustainable.
Along with making big shifts to try and lessen their own burden on the environment, artists like Dave Matthews are also hoping to teach others to do the same.
