While we all come to terms with the fact that pretty much everything has been canceled due to the spread of COVID-19 -- from your favorite festival to your dinner plans -- it seems there is no shortage of let-downs this year.
We've already been hearing about the cancelation of Halloween fun this year, so when Pop diva Mariah Carey tweeted in all caps to her 21.5 million followers that "THANKSGIVING IS CANCELLED," fans took the official Queen of Christmas' word for it.
But then, a few more all caps communiqués and a humble explanation cleared up all of the confusion.
After posting "THERE CAN BE MIRACLES," "CALAMITY AND DOG HAIR," "ONE SUMMER NIGHT, WE RAN AWAY FOR A WHILE...," and "RESTING IN PIECES," causing fans to wonder if she was alright, Mariah clarified it all saying, "C'mon, I could never cancel Thanksgiving. I just wanted to share a few chapter titles from my memoir."
The Meaning of Mariah Carey, the singer's brand new book about her life and storied career, is due to hit shelves and online retailers on September 29.
