Halsey has been busy making backup plans in case this whole music thing doesn’t work out.
The singer took to Instagram to highlight the various activities she’s partaking in during quarantine. “I made a quiche and fresh spinach butternut squash ravioli. Law is fun but hard. Beautiful sky. Can’t stop watching avatar. and judging from the baby pic I’ve been a disassociating little freak who romanticizes the 70s for my whole life. That’s all, thank you,” she wrote.
A textbook titled Constitutional Law by Dean of University of California at Berkeley School of Law’s Erwin Chemerinsky was seen in one of Halsey’s photos. Without much explanation as to why it was there, some fans questioned what she was up to.
As always, if you can bear social media comments, you may be able to find the answer.
“I’m studying for the bar exam!” she wrote in response to a fan’s question.
Halsey has given no indication where she’s enrolled in law school, but it looks like she’s well on her way to becoming a lawyer.
Her law studies haven’t stopped Halsey from working on new music as well. She recently teamed up with Marshmello for a collaboration on their new song “Be Kind.”
“Cute optimistic heartfelt dance summer 80s” is how she described the song on Twitter at the time. “Me and mello thought u guys could use the vibes right now!”
The musicians provided the perfect reassuring anthem for the moment as the song provides a source of support and optimism for those struggling during these times.
