2020 will be the year of Justin Beiber.
Bieber, who has taken a backseat in the music industry for the last few years, is returning full-force in the new decade with a brand new single, album, tour, and docu-series.
The Biebs surprised Beliebers on Christmas Eve posting a video to social media to announce the long-awaited comeback.
First up is his new single titled “Yummy, which will drop on January 3, 2020. Fans got a preview of the upcoming single in the video as he sang,“yeah you got that yummy, yum.”
The single will be followed by the release of his highly anticipated fifth studio album, which makes way for a tour kicking off at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on May 14 and concluding in East Rutherford, New Jersey on September 26.
The tour includes several stops across the U.S and Canada.
“As humans, we are imperfect. My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through, I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be and God has me right where he wants me,” Biebs says in the video.
“I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I’m at in my life. I’m excited to perform it and to tour it. We all have different stories. I’m just excited to share mine. It’s the music that I’ve loved the most out of anything I’ve done,” he adds.
Bieber also teased the date "December 31" on a previous Instagram post, so it's likely he'll announce when the album or docu-series is dropping on New Year's Eve.
The “Love Yourself” crooner has been teasing new music for months but pushed back the release to focus on his wedding to Hailey Baldwin.
The duo tied the knot for the second time on September 30, 2019.
It's been 5 years since Bieber debuted his last album, "Purpose."
