Justin Bieber isn’t wasting a day with his 2020 takeover, returning Friday with his first solo single since 2015’s Purpose. The first taste of his upcoming album is “Yummy,” a soft serve slow-grinding love song, that finds Biebs “elated” by the toe-curling passion that fills his relationship.
“Yummy” is just the beginning of Bieber’s long-awaited return, ready to roll out a new album to go with his just announced stadium tour that starts in May.
According to TMZ, the comeback collection is set to arrive sometime in March around Justin Bieber’s birthday and it will feature guest spots from Post Malone, Travis Scott, and more. The site also reports that Bieber’s fifth studio album could be called Forever, reflecting a tattoo the singer recently got on his neck. Previous album titles like Believe and Purpose also appear in ink on his body.
On our way to the album, we’ll get an inside look at the life of Bieber and his process making this album. Earlier this week Justin announced a 10-part documentary series that will offer a glimpse into the recording of the LP, some never-before-seen footage from his wedding to Hailey Bieber, and a look into his life at home.
“When I was getting started, YouTube provided me a platform and a community where I could share music, experiences and moments with my fans,” Bieber shared in a statement. “It feels great to partner with YouTube for this original documentary series. I want my fans to be part of this journey.”
Justin Bieber: Seasons will premiere on Monday, January 27 at 12PM ET. Meanwhile an official video for “Yummy” will arrive on Saturday at 12PM ET.
