Katy Perry went on Instagram Live yesterday celebrating CYN-co De Mayo with her label signee Cyn. The two planned to chat with drinks in hand (non-alcoholic for KP of course) about everything from Cyn’s latest single “Drinks” to music and mentorship.
”You can’t hide your foot fungus," she quipped. "This is me! You can’t hide anything!”
Cyn went on to recall their December trip to Dubai, when she found out about KP’s pregnancy, adding that she personally thought her and Bloom we’re a (purrr)fect match long before their engagement. Adding, "I texted you that I had a dream you and Orlando were engaged, and I saw you at a Years & Years show, and you were like, 'Cyn, tell Orlando about your dream.'"
Even with the off and on status of their relationship, Perry admitted that their eventual engagement “…was inevitable.”
The two ladies have cleverly, and fittingly might I add, dubbed themselves “CYN-derella” and “Perry Godmother” thanks to a fan edit. Watching the two interacting you can truly see the 27-year-old single singer sees Katy as just that.
Cyn continued on the topic asking a few more relationship-centric questions. Starting off by asking if Perry is at all concerned about “finding inspiration” once she is married with a family. Katy was quick to respond, "you think you find your partner and it's happily ever after and you won’t have problems or anything? You’re crazy.”
”You’re always going to be working on yourself and your relationship," she persisted. Perry related the thought, referencing Justin Timberlake's 2013 song “Mirrors."
"Your partner is your mirror. I don’t know about you, but sometimes if you get me in front of one of those magnifying mirrors at a hotel, and I see my pores and whiskers, I won’t leave the room for 30 minutes," she continued. "I'm like. I can’t believe I see all the things that I never saw and I need to work on. That’s what your partner is."
Well there you have it folks, Katy Perry’s Relationship 101. I would take a few notes if I were you. She did snag Orlando Bloom. Just sayin’…
