Michael Bublé joins the ranks of celebrities vowing to not stand idly by and stepping up to help make a change in a time it is most needed.
There are many ways one can make a difference during this time; signing petitions, educating, protesting and contributing a donation.
Michael announced on twitter that he will be doing the latter and challenged his followers to do the same. He accompanies his vow with a message of support.
Bublé is the latest in a line of artists using their voices and influence in support during this unprecedented time.
This week Halsey joined in the LA protest, she documented her experience, sharing it with her 20 million followers on Instagram. She started her caption off, ”It’s become very clear to me that some of you need to see what I’ve seen,” imploring her fans to swipe through the images to see just a fraction off what she had witnessed.
The Weekend posted on Instagram stressing the importance to “keep supporting our brothers and sisters” and shared screenshots of his donation confirmation with a statement, “urging everyone with big pockets to give and give big and if you have less please give what you can even if it's a small amount.”
After being tagged in an Instagram story from fellow Toronto musician Mustafa The Poet showing his $400 donation to the National Bail Out, Drake followed suit with his own six figure donation of $100,000.
No matter how they or we chose to help, even the smallest step towards change makes a difference during such an important time in history.
