“We talking or we racing?” Just talking for now, Vin.
2020 offered us another surprise as Fast and the Furious star Vin Diesel was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show to discuss his latest creative venture. Music.
It may have come out of nowhere, but with COVID-19 shutting down movie production this year Diesel found himself with time to explore this creative interest. “I am blessed that on a year that I would normally be on a movie set, as you know that’s not possible. I have another creative outlet. Another way to show you or share with you my heart,” he said.
Fortunately for Vin, he was able to get his start in music with a pretty big name as DJ/producer Kygo helped lend his hand on the track.
It’s not Diesel’s first foray into music as he has posted videos of himself singing and taking part in karaoke on his social media accounts in the past. Still, his new song “Feel Like I Do” represents his first official release.
No word yet on whether or not Vin & Kygo have more music up their sleeves.
Fast and the Furious fans caught some unfortunate news at the beginning of the pandemic as the highly-anticipated ninth film, Fast 9, was postponed.
The film was originally set to premiere on May 22, 2020, but will now be released in North America on April 2.
“It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May,” the film’s Twitter account wrote at the time.
“While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration,” the tweet continued.
Fast 9 is just one of many movies that has postponed its release date due to the coronavirus pandemic.
