Camila Cabello can now call Prince William and Kate Middleton her friends.
"I was so honored to be invited to Kensington Palace to meet and celebrate this year's Teen Hero finalists with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge," the 22-year-old said.
"Hearing the incredible things these Teen Heroes have done is so inspirational. Their passion and dedication to help others is amazing, and they really blew me away."
Kenisington Palace shared several photos from the event including one of Cabello alongside the finalists and the royal couple.
“Now in its tenth year, @bbcradio1’s Teen Awards is the biggest teen event in the pop music calendar and shines a light on some of the UK’s most inspirational teens, seeing them crowned Teen Heroes of 2019 in front of an audience of 14-17 year-olds,” the Palace said in the caption.
From the ten finalists, three will be crowned winners at this year's ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 24.
The event took place prior to William and Kate’s recent tour of Pakistan in which a lightning storm forced the couple’s flight to force landing in the country’s capital of Islamabad twice.
"I think it was quite an adventure really, it was pretty bumpy up there," the Duchess said of the ordeal. "We were looked after so wonderfully by the Royal Air Force who did a great job liaising with everyone and got us home safely."
They were able to reach their destination safely 18 hours after their original scheduled time.
