Meet Audrey, the Little Girl Responsible for the Most Adorable Rage Against The Machine Cover Ever

An anti-establishment song has never sounded so cute.

Fans bummed out over the postponement of Rage Against The Machine’s reunion tour can take solace that somewhere in the world, people are still rocking out to their music.

A father and daughter duo uploaded a cover of the band’s classic song “Killing In The Name” and it has taken the internet by storm.

It’s odd to imagine a song best known for its angry, anti-establishment refrain “f*** you, I won’t do what you tell me” being cute. Yet, here we are.

Malaysian musician Ujang Ijon plays the guitar while his daughter Audrey belts out the vocals. Audrey delivers with an emotional presence Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack De La Rocha would be proud of.

For those of you wondering, no, she did not sing the “f*** you, I won’t do what you tell me” outro. That’s probably for the best.

As of writing the video has over 1.6 million views.

Rage Against The Machine made headlines earlier in the year when they announced a reunion tour with support from Run The Jewels. The band was forced to postpone the first leg of the tour from March 26th to May 20th due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The second leg of their tour is set to kick off on July 10th, but it remains to be seen whether or not that will take place.

If recent public sentiment is any indication, a majority of Americans won’t feel comfortable attending large public gatherings like concerts or sporting events without a coronavirus vaccine.
