Rage Against The Machine has just announced that they will postpone their entire Public Service Announcement tour. Initially the tour was only postponed until May, however due to widespread pandemic related cancelations, the band has pushed tour dates to begin in June 2021.
In an announcement on Instagram the band updated fans saying, “Rage Against the Machine will commence our tour at such a time when we are confident it will be safe for our fans.” The announcement also addresses refunds for fans, “During this difficult time we also respect the fans who want their ticket money back. We’ve requested and confirmed that, as of this weekend, anyone who wants a refund can begin the process at your point of purchase.”
Fans can head to the band’s website to view rescheduled tour dates. Additionally, the website details info on how to receive a ticket refund.
The band, who was set to headline Coachella this past April, says that they hope all of their fans are staying safe and turning to music for “solace and inspiration.” The band also confirmed that Run The Jewels will still be joining them during the new tour dates.
While this cancellation is yet another disappointment in the concert cancellations we have all endured this year, we know Rage Against The Machine will come back even better in the summer of 2021. Until then you can find us counting down the days.
