They grow up so fast, don’t they? You’re changing their diaper one day. They’re posing in a Dolce & Gabbana dress on their first magazine cover, literally the next.
Stormi Webster, the 17-month-old daughter of Kylie Jenner and rapper Travis Scott, made her editorial debut on one of three covers for the July/August issue of Harper’s BAZAAR Arabia.
One of the youngest heirs to the Kardashian-Jenner empire, Stormi appears on the cover with her stylish mom Kylie and mogul grandmother Kris Jenner. The three generations of women donned matching leopard-print dresses.
Stormi wasn’t originally slated to appear on the front page. According to Harper’s, the one-year-old arrived to the shoot with her world’s youngest billionaire mom, who pulled out a baby Dolce & Gabbana dress from her bag and told the crew, “Let’s do this!”
Not that Stormi is new to being in the public spotlight. Webster, who takes her last name from her dad, was welcomed into the world three days after her February 1st birth last year, in a touching announcement video narrated by Kylie’s BFF Jordyn Woods.
And even though this is Stormi’s first formal foray into the world of modeling, she’s a natural, having had a lot of practice accessorizing. In April, she was spotted showing off a pink $15,000 Hermès purse, a gift from her aunt Khloe Kardashian.
In her interview with Harper’s, Kylie told the publication that becoming a mother made her look at her life and her relationship with her own mother in a new light.
“When I became a mother,” Jenner said, “my perspective on life completely changed, and so did how I look at my own mum and appreciate all the things she’s done for me.”
Kylie’s own experience of motherhood helped her to “understand the way that [Kris] feels about me, the way that she loves me, and how strong her love for all her kids is, because of how obsessed I am with Stormi.”
Being showcased on the cover with both her daughter and mother is clearly symbolic for Kylie Jenner, who posted the photo on her Instagram with the caption, “Here’s to STRONG WOMEN! May we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. 👑🖤 @harpersbazaararabia.”
