Brad Pitt and Other Celebs Remake Loved Ones' Homes on New HGTV Show

Drew and Jonathan Scott, the Property Brothers, are taking on another HGTV series. This time with some of Hollywood's A-listers.

People reported that in the new series “Celebrity IOU,” celebrities like Brad Pitt, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Bublé and other are surprising loved ones with a surprise home makeover.

The show, which premieres on April 13, is a chance for stars to show appreciation for their loved ones that have shown support throughout their careers. Celebrities like Pitt will reveal “big, heartwarming home renovations that bring everyone to tears,” according to HGTV.

“It’s amazing to see someone who is extremely successful be grounded enough to always remember the people who helped them get there,” Jonathan said in a statement.

His twin and co-star Drew added, “Being a part of this show really hits home for us. This is what we love to do, transforming people’s lives through their homes.”

The twin’s company Scott Brothers Productions is producing the series.

Each episode will emotionally dig into the stars’ personal stories and pasts. Since this is a home renovation show, the celebrities will also be getting their hands dirty while helping with the renovations.

Jane Latman, the HGTV network president said that the company has had success with sharing stories that “celebrate the power of human connection.”

The wonderful thing about “Celebrity IOU is that it is about personal acts of kindness and thanks. We all want to find ways to help the people who are always there for us when we need them,” Latman said.
