Bravo Debuts First 7 Minutes of New ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season

“Vanderpump Rules” is returning in 2020 with a brand new season and several new faces.

On Christmas Day, Bravo gave fans the ultimate gift: a look at the first seven minutes.

The highly-anticipated trailer features current and former SURvers – Ariana Madix, Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Kristen Doute, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz – along with some fresh blood that will be bringing tons of drama.

SUR and TomTom owner, Lisa Vanderpump, warns, “it's great to have new faces but their problems seem as complicated as their predecessors.”

TomTom General Manager Max and hostess Dayna immediately complicate things by sleeping together, but the servers serve up this warning: “He literally has a new girl every week. Why else do you think he has this job?”

Scheana can likely attest to that as she admits Max “ghosted” her after she purchased him an Apple watch to show him how much she cared about him.

Down the block at SUR, things are equally as tense as Scheana mentors new SURver, Brett Caprioni, whom she hooked up with the first weekend they met.

As she warns him that the ladies there are "very catty" and "like new tall, cute boys,” he disses her in a confessional.

“Scheana and I actually have hooked up,” he admits.

He continues, “'A few nights ago, we were out at a bar in Santa Monica, I was with a buddy. She, of course, invited us back to her house to play Scattergories. The next thing I know, we just kissed. That wasn't what I thought it would be. Nothing against her.”

When a producer asks if he meant Scheana wasn’t a good kisser, Caprioni confirms replying, “That is what I'm saying.”

Raquel Leviss may be new to the restaurant, but she’s a familiar face for the show as she dated DJ James Kennedy, whom Vanderpump fired last season.

“It's definitely a trigger for him. He sees me put on my SUR uniform and he's like about to cry watching me leave the door,”' Raquel tells Vanderpump when asked how Kennedy is coping with her working there.

“It's kind of like when you're packing for that road trip and you zip open your suitcase and your little puppy jumps in there and gives you those big puppy dog eyes,” she elaborates.

The upcoming season also introduces Lala Kent’s movie producer fiancé Randall Emmett. The two are set to tie the knot on April 18, 2020.

And speaking of weddings, Daily Mail reports it will also feature SUR bartender Jax Taylor’s wedding to Brittany Cartwright at the Kentucky Castle in Versailles.

Season 8 premieres on January 7, 2020 on Bravo.
