The one with a routine.
More than 20-years later, Courteney Cox and her 15-year-old daughter, Coco Arquette, gave the Geller New Year’s Eve dance routine a bit of a modern update.
Cox joined her daughter in a sassy, choreographed dance routine that reminded fans of a 1999 episode of “Friends” in which her character Monica and brother Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) performed their “Geller-iffic” routine in hopes of getting a spot on the platform at “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”
All these years later and Monica’s still got it going on.
The teenager captioned the less-than-30 second TikTok video with the caption, “family workout.”
Cox also shared the clip on her Instagram writing, "Wanna see your child lose their patience? Do a TikTok with them. #familyaerobics."
Warning: the clip contains language that’s NSFW.
Cox had absolutely no trouble keeping up with her teenage daughter’s hip-hop moves earning praise from fans and celeb friends alike.
“Mom” actress Allison Janey commented, “Yes please,” while David Spade praised the “solid ending” in which they get “dragged.”
One fan suggested that Cox show her daughter the dance, writing, “You should’ve had her do the Monica and Ross dance.”
Newlywed Erin Foster seemed impressed, writing, “Whoa you’re good at this.”
But Cox’s dancing chops shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Before infusing Monica with her dance moves, Cox appeared in Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 “Dancing in the Dark” video and Monogem’s 2017 “Wild” video.
