"Friends" super fans will soon be able to experience what it felt like to be a cast member on the iconic NBC sitcom.
An immersive pop-up exhibit is coming to NYC in honor of the 25th anniversary of the show’s premiere in 1995, according to E!
Entitled Friends25, the pop-up will include props, costumes, and set recreations of Chandler and Joey’s apartment, Ross’ living room, Central Perk and even the infamous fountain from the program’s opening montage. Cue The Rembrandts theme song!
The attraction is being produced by Superfly, which previously did a similar pop-up about “Seinfeld.”
“We're excited to celebrate 25 years of fandom with the show's biggest immersive experience to date," the co-founder of Superfly, said in a statement. "The Friends New York City Pop-Up captures the series most memorable moments with the characters, memorabilia, set re-creations and exclusive merchandise."
Tickets for the experience go on sale Friday, August 2nd and cost $29.50.
The exhibit, which is located in the trendy Soho district of Manhattan, will be open daily from September 7th to October 6th.
Fans that can’t make it to the Big Apple can still celebrate Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe by purchasing Central Perk coffee at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or some “Friends”-themed home furnishings at Pottery Barn.
And if you don’t feel like shelling out extra cash, remember you have until Jan 1st, 2020 to watch all ten seasons of the show on Netflix before it moves over to HBO Max.
"Friends" will be there for you, but just on another streaming platform that you’ll need to pay extra for.
