Jamie Foxx is teaming up with his daughter for a new Netflix project.
The multi-cam series is inspired by the actor’s relationship with his 26-year-old daughter, Corinne Foxx.
Corinne will produce alongside her father and Alex Avant.
Jamie will be joined by his former “In Living Color” castmate David Alan Grier, Kyla-Drew (“No Good Nick”), Porscha Coleman, and Jonathan Kite.
"Roswell, New Mexico” actress Heather Hemmens and Valente Rodriguez will appear in recurring roles.
Corinne and Jamie work well together and currently appear on the Fox competition series “Beat Shazam.” Jamie is the host while Corinne is a DJ.
This will be Jamie’s first TV lead role since “The Jamie Foxx Show,” which ran from 1996-2001. He has focused more on film roles starring in projects like “Django Unchained” and “Ray,” which earned him an Academy Award.
While Netflix focuses heavily on single-camera comedies, it’s had a few multi-cam projects on the lineup including “The Ranch” and “One Day at a Time.”
