Lovers of "The Office," you may not know this little tidbit about the show.
While filming Season 3 of "The Office," John Krasinski was able to wear a wig for the last six episodes to cut his hair for the 2008 film "Leatherheads," reported Page Six.
The show's hairstylist, Kim Ferry, said that she helped Krasinski come up with a plan after showrunner Greg Daniels did not allow him to cut his hair.
"He paid for the wig, a human hair wig made by a friend of mine, Natascha Ladek, who's the best wig maker in town," Ferry said.
Ferry explained how her friend came in to do a secret fitting for him, which then resulted in the hardly noticeable wig. She said he came in, and she had the hair hidden in a little-known spot ready for him.
"When it was just him and I, I put it on him, and then he went out and filmed," Ferry said.
Krasinski decided to go straight into his boss's office and confront him about the situation. Ferry explained how he kept saying that Krasinski could not wear a wig, as he and viewers would definitely notice.
Krasinski then ripped off the wig he had been wearing the whole time, and Ferry was outwitted.
"It was nerve-wracking, but it turned out OK. Thank god," Ferry said.
Back in May, Krasinski did something crazy for superfans of the hit NBC show by inviting his friends from "The Office" for a spectacular reunion.
Cast members from the popular show came together to surprise Susan and John, a newly married couple who had their wedding virtually officiated by Krasinski.
In a video posted to Instagram, Krasinski is seen inviting their families to join the special occasion via Zoom.
