Millie Bobby Brown or Rachel Green?
The “Stranger Things” star channeled her favorite “Friends” character for W's new 2020 Television Portfolio.
The 16-year-old was among 20 TV Stars chosen to impersonate characters from the TV show that they binge-watched most during quarantine.
In the photoshoot, she rocked a 90s-inspired pleated skirt and white turtleneck similar to what Jennifer Aniston’s character wore in the sitcom.
"An icon! Rachel is my favorite. After all, she has a hairstyle named after her," said actress said.
She added: "I dream of people saying, 'I want the Eleven! Or the Enola!' I want my own hairstyle."
Brown stars in Netflix’s upcoming film “Enola Holmes” as Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister.
She told the magazine what it was like to wear a corset in the Victoria-era film.
"That was the first corset I ever had to wear. I had a 20-inch waist in the corset. I thought, 'Wow! This is a fashion moment!'" she said. "But then I had to wear it while doing stunts, and I’d ask my costar Helena Bonham Carter, who has worn many corsets, 'Why can’t I breathe?'"
While she credited the corset with giving an “hourglass figure,” she emphasized that she hopes they “never come back in style.”
"Afterwards, I went to the beach, and for a solid month or two, I was curvy. Then quarantine happened and my hourglass died off. Very sad."
Other high-profile stars in the W Magazine shoot include “Ozark’s” Julia Garner, who impersonated “Succession”s Siobhan “Shiv” Roy, “Schitt’s Creek” star Daniel Levy, who posed as Nicholas Hoult in “The Great,” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s” Rachel Brosnahan, who revealed her obsession has been “Survivor.”
