Prince George is getting the cartoon treatment!
In fact, the whole royal family is getting animated for a new TV series on HBO Max.
The new streaming service announced its new series, “The Prince,” based on writer and producer Gary Janetti’s Instagram parody account of Prince George.
The social media page continues to grow in popularity nearing almost 900,000 followers as it spills the tea about the royal family from the lens of the 6-year-old future king.
“I’m thrilled to be working at HBO Max and bringing them yet another series about a family ruthlessly fighting for the throne,” Janetti said in a statement.
The series boasts an impressive cast. In addition to Janetti, who will voice young George, Orlando Bloom will take on Prince Harry, Condola Rashad will play Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Tom Hollander will pull double duty as both Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Alan Cummin as George’s butler, Owen, Iwan Rheon as Prince William, and finally, France De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth.
“We’re so excited to bring the world Gary’s created on Instagram over to HBO Max, where our viewers can discover what his Instagram fans already know — that George can be hilarious, shocking, and surprisingly sweet,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content, HBO Max. “We can’t wait to see what Gary does with a bigger canvas to paint on than just a 1:1 square.”
HBO Max teased the show as a "biting, satirical look" at the life of the young royal "as he navigates the trials and tribulations of being a royal child,” according to a release per E!
Janetti has worked on fan-favorite shows like “Family Guy” and “Will & Grace.”
