The Guidice family is doing everything they can to spend the holiday season together.
Teresa Giudice told US Weekly that she wants her daughters to spend as much time with their dad, Joe Giudice, as possible, but since he’s in Italy, their school schedule has made it difficult.
“I encourage the kids because I have work and stuff so, but whenever the kids want to go, I have no problem sending them, but they have school also,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star said at BravoCon on Saturday, November 16.
With the holidays coming up, it may just be the family reunion of their dreams.
While she admitted that things aren’t looking promising for Thanksgiving, she felt optimistic about the Christmas holiday.
“They were thinking about Thanksgiving, but Joe’s just getting his passport, so they wanted to meet in the Bahamas or something like that. But I don’t know if his passport’s going to be ready in time so definitely Christmas,” she revealed.
Her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, who is married to Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, added that she didn’t care where the family spent the holiday as long as they were together.
“We’re going to do the best we can,” she said at BravoCon. “I have everyone over at my house for Christmas Eve, so it’ll be great. It’ll be exciting!”
According to MSN, the family has been separated for more than three years as Joe served 41 months in prison for fraud and then subsequent months in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.
Joe is currently in his native Italy awaiting a verdict in his deportation case.
His wife and daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10, recently visited him overseas for the first time since his release.
Their trip was documented by "Real Housewives of New Jersey" cameras.
Teresa said the trip was “emotional” during Saturday’s “RHONJ” panel adding, “You guys will see that play out. I can’t give a lot away, but I’m happy for him. I’m happy that he’s free.”
You can catch up with the Giudice family on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
