The entertainment industry has been greatly affected by the coronavirus outbreak, leaving many musicians and freelance artists out of work entirely.
With the cancellation of tours, and closure of bars and venues across the country, artists who make their living primarily through live performances are struggling right now to make ends meet, as are sound engineers, technicians, promoters, photographers and other members of the creative community.
Below are some resources that have been made available via our community partners D. Cipher, and other organizations:

Americans for the Arts COVID-19 Resource and Response Center
Billboard COVID-19 Resource Guide

Cancelled gigs due to coronavirus? Here's what you can do.
Additionally, MusicTown Detroit wants to help promote local artists and their music through a series called #HeadlineFromHome. Tag us in your performance videos and we'll highlight the artists across our platforms. We'll also let people know where they can buy your music, merch, and how best to support local artists during this time.
Stay strong and stay healthy. We're all in this together.
