Starbucks’ new winter menu is ringing in 2021 with all new sweet drinks and treats to start the new year off right.
“Beginning January 5, customers can enjoy the new Honey Almondmilk Cold Brew, Pistachio Latte, Kale and Portabella Mushroom Sous Vide Egg Bites, and Earth Cake Pop as well as celebrate the return of the Honey Almondmilk Flat White and Red Velvet Loaf,” according to a Starbucks press release.
“Cold coffee and cold beverages continue to be a hot trend at Starbucks. This non-dairy beverage is made with slow-steeped Starbucks® Cold Brew, combined with honey and then topped with almondmilk for a creamy finish,” Starbucks said on their website.
Starbucks’ new Pistachio Latte is the latest drink to introduce all new flavors to the coffee chain.
“It’s notes of brown butter and pistachio intermingle with our signature espresso, giving your drink a sophisticated twist of creamy comfort,” the company says on their Twitter page.
The new menu item, which can also be ordered as a blended beverage or iced latte, is only available at locations in the U.S. and in Canada.
Customers can enjoy the beverage with dairy or non-dairy milk. The company is however reminding people that there is dairy in the drink’s sauce, and should be avoided by anyone with a lactose allergy.
The company also announced on Twitter that they will not be bringing back the favorite Smoked Butterscotch Latte in 2021.
