Cheez-Its and Boxed Wine Are Now Sold Together for Non-Aficionados

A wine and cheese soiree doesn’t have to be fancy.

Kellogg’s wants to help you party like a college student and has paired up with House Wines to create the ultimate combination that includes Cheez-It crackers and a box of Original Red Blend in one package. Genius!

“The innovative pairing highlights the cheesy, crunchy satisfaction packed into every Cheez-It cracker and couples it with the red currant aromas and juicy red fruit delivered in House Wine's Original Red Blend,” the two companies said in a joint press release.

While you’re probably familiar with Cheez-Its, the Original Red Blend is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 13% alcohol. The box wine portion of the package also comes with approximately 20 pours, so call a friend – and an Uber!

The 2-in-1 boozy snack combo will only be available for a limited-time on the House Wines website and will retail for $25. A small price to pay for the ultimate guilty pleasure convenience!

Once they sell out you can still enjoy them both, but you’ll have to go back to the olden days and pick up a box of Cheez-Its and a box of wine separately. How barbaric!

The two brands also offer up suggestions for other do-it-yourself pairings which include White Cheddar Cheez-Its with Rosé, Zesty Cheddar Ranch and Malbec, or the Extra Toasty variety with a Sauvignon Blanc. The options are limitless.

So, as the temperatures continue to soar, cool off in your inflatable pool with a box - or two - of crackers and wine. Cheers!
