Starbucks kicked off the new year with three drink additions specifically crafted for those looking for plant-blased options.
The Almond Milk Honey Flat White, Coconut Milk Latte, and the Oat Milk Honey Latte debuted in 1,300 locations in the Midwest.
But those looking for something to replace the void of holiday drinks (we miss you Caramel Brulee Latte) will be happy to hear that the former fan-favorite, Smoked Butterscotch Latte, snuck its way onto the menu when no one was looking.
The cozy winter drink features butterscotch syrup, espresso, steamed milk, and a smoky butterscotch topping.
“Notes of smoked butterscotch intermingle with our signature espresso, giving your latte a sophisticated new twist,” the Starbucks description reads.
According to Delish, Starbucks confirmed that both the Butterscotch Latte and its younger sibling, the Butterscotch Frappuccino, will be around for a limited time.
The drink was first introduced in 2016 and has become a winter staple at the chain coffee shop because butterscotch just has a way of warming up the soul on a chilly, winter day.
While the drink is dairy-based, Starbucks allows you to switch it up with any milk alternatives including oat, almond, coconut, cashew.
Since the chain is already gearing up for the holiday of love, plan your Starbucks run now before the Butterscotch offerings are gone.
Coffee-lovers at various Starbucks and Starbucks Target locations spotted brand new cups and tumblers that will make your heart skip a beat and that means, Valentine’s Day coffees and lattes aren’t far behind.
