Hallmark gives away 1 million 'gratitude cards' to thank educators for 'vital role' during pandemic

Hallmark has announced a new way to show appreciation to the tireless heroes of 2020.

Beginning on Nov. 17, Hallmark will be giving away 1 million cards to help thank teachers, school administrators, school staff, bus drivers, and all other educators who are working amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Just fill out this form, and we’ll send you a free 3-pack of gratitude cards your way,” Hallmark website’s states. You can access the form here.

Each 3-pack will also come with Crayola crayons to allow students to personalize their cards of appreciation.

“For the past 110 years, Hallmark has helped people put more care in the world, and now it is more important than ever to show love for the incredible people who are teaching, coaching and caring for our children every day,” Lindsey Roy, Hallmark’s Chief Marketing Officers, tells PEOPLE magazine.

"We hope people will use this card giveaway as a tangible opportunity to recognize the vital role educators, administrators, school staff and many others play in our children's lives," she added.

The cards are creatively designed, with one reading “Teachers are a force for good.” Another reads, “You make the worked a better place!”

School teachers have been working tirelessly as they adjust to remote learning, face coverings, and constantly-changing schedules.

Educators around the country have continued to keep students’ spirits high during a time of social distancing and uncertainty about the future.

People should expect to receive their card pack in up to 30 days. Supplies are limited to a first-come, first-serve basis, and only available to one pack per household.

The giveaway is open to the US only.
