Hurricane Zeta made landfall Wednesday, bringing in winds at up to 110 miles per hour and causing damage to structures around New Orleans. Now, the storm has caused a power outage on Bourbon Street.

In a video shared by Garland Gillen of Fox 8 News, Bourbon Street appears dark and rain-covered.

The storm made landfall on Wednesday as a Category 2 with harsh winds and lots of rain.

The storm has caused damage to homes and buildings and caused electricity outages to some 300,000 customers.

The hurricane quickly crossed Southeast Louisiana on a path for Mississippi with the eye of the storm passing over New Orleans on Wednesday evening.

"On the forecast track, the center of Zeta will... move across the southeastern and eastern United States on Thursday," the hurricane center reports.

“On the forecast track, the center of Zeta will make landfall in southeastern Louisiana this afternoon,” the center wrote Wednesday. “Zeta will then move close to the Mississippi coast this evening, and move across the southeastern and eastern United States on Thursday.”
