In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, restaurants are doing their part to entice customers to shop at their locations safely. This means rounding up better takeout options, and IHOP is jumping on the trend.

Back in June, IHOP worked to streamline their 12-page menu into just a 2-page menu. Now, they're adding some popular items back into their repertoire along with some new products they're testing, Today reports.

IHOP's new Burritos & Bowls line offers up some of new menu items in breakfast, lunch, and dinner varieties. They start at the low price of just $5.99 and were created with the idea that you could grab them and go.

There are 6 varieties of the new Burritos & Bowls line:

The Classic, featuring scrambled eggs, bacon or diced sausage, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, and hash browns. Served with a side of salsa.
Country Breakfast with scrambled eggs, diced ham and sausage, fire-roasted peppers and onions, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, and hash browns. Served with a side of gravy.
Spicy Poblano Fajita featuring shredded beef, scrambled eggs, poblano and Serrano peppers, red peppers and onions, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, fresh avocado, and hash browns. Served with a side of poblano queso.
Southwest Chicken comes in either burrito or bowl form and features grilled chicken, scrambled eggs, hickory-smoked bacon pieces, green peppers and onions, tomatoes, queso sauce, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, fresh avocado, and hash browns. Served with a choice of salsa or chile verde salsa.
New Mexican Chicken features grilled chicken, hickory-smoked bacon pieces, green peppers and onions, queso sauce, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, avocado, and rice. Comes with red salsa or chile verde salsa.
Spicy Shredded Beef for lunch or dinner comes with shredded beef, poblano and Serrano peppers, red peppers and onions, shredded Jack and cheddar cheeses, avocado, rice and a side of poblano queso.

“Burritos are the #1 fastest growing breakfast menu items in America so, as the breakfast leader, IHOP needed to create some great ones,” said Brad Haley, chief marketing officer at IHOP, in a statement to media.

He continued, "We know our guests are looking for menu items that are portable for take-out and delivery, which made our new line of Burritos & Bowls a natural fit. While we’re eager to welcome our guests to join us back under our blue roofs, we’re happy to provide our delicious new Burritos & Bowls, anywhere, for breakfast, lunch or dinner.”

According to Today, the menu items will be available at all locations permanently.
