Your emotional support dog could never!
If you want to get away from all the stresses of modern living, an upstate New York bed and breakfast wants you to put your phone down and cuddle a cow.
Mountain Horse Farm in Naples, New York has enlisted the services of their two bovine beauties, Bonnie and Bella, to help guests disconnect and truly relax, according to CNN.
"A lot of people are familiar with therapy dogs or cats ... people don't associate this with larger animals, like cows," said Susan Vullers, owner of the 33-acre retreat.
Willing participants can sit in silence, bonding with the cows by gently touching them as they digest their food.
Vullers got the idea after traveling back to her native Netherlands where the practice is called koe knuffelen. The entire experience is said to be not only relaxing but also quite meditative
"It makes you forget everything around you, it makes you forget you have to pay your bills or get your car fixed," she said. "It immerses you in that activity."
Vacationers looking to unwind can enjoy the connection with their cattle pals for the price of $75 an hour for two people. The service is only offered a few times a week and requires mutual respect for the animals.
"We're not a petting zoo. It's not all about you. It's about us and them,” Vullers added. "For us, it's very important that the animals have choices and it's as much their choice to connect with humans as it is for us."
And if cows aren’t your thing, they also offer the same experience with their horses named Cricket, Noa, Jaxon, Stetson, Suzie Q, and Missy.
If that still doesn’t work for you, just go back to watching cat videos all day!
