Gov. Newsom's brother-in-law arrested in alleged domestic violence incident

Governor Gavin Newsom’s brother-in-law has been arrested in an alleged domestic violence incident, according to police.

Joshua Irwin Schiller was arrested and booked at Marin County Jail on suspicion of a inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Officers responded to a domestic call Wednesday at 11 p.m. After interviews with the parties, and because the victim had visible injuries, officers determined that Schiller had allegedly committed an act of domestic violence and he was taken into custody.
