Oreo’s Newest Dessert-Inspired Flavor Has 2 Kinds of Creme Inside

By , RADIO.COM

Oreo is drawing its latest inspiration from your favorite Italian dessert.

The cookie company is gearing up to release some delicious and unique new flavors in 2020.

In January, they already debuted Caramel Coconut and Chocolate Marshmallow (so get them before they’re gone) cookies, but the next flavor, coming this spring, will undoubtedly give those flavors a run for their money.

According to PEOPLE, the Tiramisu Oreos will take your taste buds on a trip to Italy.

They'll be hitting shelves for a limited-time in April.

Much like the recent S’mores Oreos, the cookies will feature dual layers of tiramisu flavored creme sandwiched between two cookies.

The beloved dessert consisting of ladyfingers soaked in espresso and flavored liquor, filled with mascarpone cheese, and dusted with cocoa powder.

Tiramisu flavored Oreos aren’t exactly "new" as the Tiramisu Thins have been available in Korea for years now according to Instagram account @CandyHunting.

However, the flavor is debuting for the first time in the US market.

If 2019 is any indication, Oreo is going to delight our taste-buds unique twists on the traditional cookies.

Last year alone, they rolled out 14 limited-edition flavors including S’mores Oreos, Latte Creme Oreo Thins, Marshmallow Moon Oreos, Baskin Robins Mint Chocolate Chip Oreos and Maple Creme Oreos.

And their December “mystery flavor” was revealed to be churros, the Mexican dessert.

As you prepare yourself for the Tiramisu flavor, let us remind you that the perfect Oreo dunk time, which has been scientifically tested, is 3 seconds. No more, no less.
