Cuffing season is upon us, and plenty of singles are going to be looking for a bae to hunker down with when it gets chilly outside.
But if you’re single and don’t want to deal with the pressure of finding a last-minute ‘bae,’ don’t worry, Oscar Mayer has a sizzlin’ solution for you.
The brand, best known for its b-o-l-o-g-n-a and hot dog-inspired Weinermobile, just launched a revolutionary item that combines two things you love: blankets and bacon.
The BAEcon blanket, as it’s fittingly called, is here to make you feel less lonely this season.
According to the Oscar Mayer Twitter, they're confident this is the “only BAE you need.”
Unlike your ex, this bae won’t ever let you down, it won’t judge you if all you want to do is watch rom coms and eat bacon, it will keep you warm at all times, and it’ll make you feel less anxious and stressed.
That last part is scientifically proven as the BAEcon blanket is a 15-lb. weighted blanket.
Since prints are so ‘in’ this season, the blanket is also covered in mouth-watering bacon strips.
"Just as our bacon is reliable and cooks up perfectly every time, we're confident the Oscar Mayer BAEcon Blanket will be the reliable companion you need to get through the winter," Matt Riezman, associate director of marketing for Oscar Mayer, said in a press release. "We set the gold standard of bacon and want to help our fans maintain a high standard this cuffing season."
If you want to wrap yourself up in all the bacon goodness, here’s what you need to do.
Head over to Twitter immediately to enter the contest and win your very own BAEcon blanket. Sadly, it’s not available for purchase at this time.
Use the hashtag #CuffOscar and #Sweepstakes to get your hands on the blanket that’ll make all your friends jealous this winter season.
You only have a few days to enter as the contest started today (11/20) and runs through Friday (11/22) at 9 AM ET.
Fans will be selected at random to win the tastiest bae this season.
Just remember that food and food-inspired items won’t ever wake up one day and realize they don’t love you anymore.
