Your daily coffee buzz is about to get a lot cheaper.
Panera is rolling out a game-changing offer that almost sounds too good to be true.
The restaurant chain’s new subscription coffee service will let you have unlimited amounts of java for just $8.99 plus tax a month.
Entitled MyPanera+Coffee, the economical plan allows customers who sign up for their rewards program to enjoy a high-quality hot drip coffee, iced coffee or hot tea all day at any of their over 2000 locations nationwide.
In addition, coffee lovers can choose any size beverage in four blends including their signature light and dark roasts, hazelnut and decaf. Unfortunately, lattes, mochas and other specialty coffees are not part of the deal.
"Today, we're changing the game for coffee drinkers across the country with our no compromises, unlimited subscription service — great coffee at an amazing value,” the company said in a statement.
“We are eliminating the price barrier and the false choices between convenience and quality — between good coffee and craveable food. At Panera, there's no more compromise — and your cup is always full."
With Americans reportedly spending an average of about $1100 a year on coffee, Panera’s plan, which costs $108 for 12 months, could potentially save you $1000.
As an added bonus, the company will no longer charge extra for almond milk or any other plant-based milk options.
The one stipulation to their unlimited subscription service is that you are only allowed one cup of coffee every two hours. So if you want that second cup, you will need to wait 120 minutes and then head back to your local Panera.
Joining their My Panera rewards program is free and the unlimited subscription service starts Monday, March 2nd.
